Another wonderful Yelp event. Hula grill was a gorgeous addition to the event venue list. Beach side dining, with an awesome view of the ocean from the balcony. Its true what they say… “Lucky you live Hawaii”.
Being a Yelp part, you can bet there was lots of schwag on hand for yelpers to fill their pockets with. Mints, Pins, Yelpstick, and even those sweet Elite Watches.
Hula grill had a bunch of appetizers set up around the restaurant. Ceviche, Ahi poke, and even a cheese platter. Boy do I loves me some cheese.
And even free island cocktails.
For lunch, a “build your own” curry station with all the fixins. Two different kinds of curry, chicken, beef, some kind of noodle thing (yeah, I know. lol. I don’t know what it was). And I don’t know what they did with the rice, but it was amazing.
But easily, the highlight of the food portion of the event was dessert. Right smack in the middle of the room was an awesome chocolate fountain. And a table full of fresh furit for the dippin’.
There was also live music by local artist Jeremy Cheng. I don’t know how I never heard his music before, but he is very talented and eclectic. Covered everything from journey to john legend. maroon5 to musiq soulchild. What a great addition to this Yelp event.
It was definitely another one for the books. Never disappointed with a Yelp event, and this was no different. Cant wait for the next one.
BONUS: Heres a little video i made of the event. I dont pretend to be a videographer or even know what im doing, but hey, it was fun to try it out. And at the end you get a sample of the sounds of Jeremy Cheng.
